Clyde North Centre Overview
When it comes to your child’s formative years, you want what’s best: somewhere they feel safe, cared for, and eager to learn. That’s exactly what we offer at Explorers Clyde North, with programs from infancy through to preschool and kindergarten. At our centre, children are encouraged to stay active, moving between shared indoor learning spaces and our outdoor play area, where they can explore and connect with nature. We carry that same care into our meals, offering tasty and nutritious options prepared by our in-house chef.
Drawing inspiration from the Reggio Emilia philosophy, our centre piazza is a shared space where children come together to play, make friends, and grow their abilities. We believe childcare in Clyde North isn’t just about building skills; it’s about helping kids grow into themselves in an environment that feels familiar and supportive. Our framework of joy nurtures their natural curiosity and confidence, while our learning for life curriculum builds a habit of discovery that stays with them as they grow.

What makes Explorers Clyde North Unique
Every family has its own rhythm, and so does every child. At Explorers Clyde North, we create space for both. While our educational approach is grounded in the Reggio Emilia philosophy, it’s the little things we do each day that make a big difference: listening closely, giving children time to wonder, and encouraging them to try things their way.
Here’s how that comes to life at our early learning centre in Clyde North:
- Space That Grows with Them — Each room is set up to reflect the age, interests, and learning needs of the children in it. From the cosy, sensory-rich nursery to our engaging toddler rooms that encourage independence, our environments spark curiosity and support meaningful learning experiences at every stage.
- Play with Purpose — Our outdoor areas give children room to move, build, dig, and connect. Whether it’s playing with friends or collecting leaves for a group project, there’s always something to explore, and plenty of space for imagination to take the lead.
- Holistic Nutrition — Food is more than fuel; it’s a moment to pause and connect. Our on-site chef prepares fresh, nutritious meals daily. Children sit down to eat together, learning to share and try new flavours as they enjoy the rhythm of a shared table.
- Experienced Educators — Our team brings warmth, patience, and an understanding of how children learn. They’re there to guide, support, and gently step back when a child is figuring something out on their own. What sets us apart from other childcare centres in Australia is how we balance connection and independence to help children build confidence over time.
- Learning Made Sustainable — From our veggie garden to recycling and reusing materials in creative ways, we help children understand how their choices affect the world around them. These daily moments build a sense of care and responsibility that stays with them.

Meet Sanji - Centre Director
Sanji has been the centre director of Explorers Clyde North since 2021 and has always had a deep passion for the early learning and childcare sector.
“I’ve always believed that the early years are the most powerful in shaping who we become. Watching children discover the world with curiosity and joy inspired me to be part of that journey.”
When children and families walk into her centre, Sanji wants them to feel like they’ve just walked into a second home. Whether it’s a child’s laughter, a friendly greeting from an educator, or the calm hum of learning, she wants families to know they’re part of a caring and connected community.
The Explorers value that Sanji resonates with the most is relationships – how they grow and evolve between children, families and educators.
“Strong, respectful relationships are the foundation of everything we do. When we build trust with children and families, we create a space where learning and growth can truly flourish. It’s through these connections that we make a lasting impact.”
Something that might surprise families about Sanji is that she’s been a mum for nearly two decades.
“People often joke that I look like one of the children and honestly, I take it as a compliment. It always gets a laugh and makes for a great conversation starter with families and children alike!”
The management team is always available & approachable, always happy to answer any questions & have a chat.
The food is of a good variety & the centre itself is very clean, with lots of activities available for the children.
I feel the staff there don’t just come to work, they love what they do & would highly recommend this centre to others
The team has been incredibly warm and welcoming, and their consistent communication has made it so easy for me as a parent to stay connected and reassured. Watching my son grow and thrive in such a nurturing environment has been a joy.
Thank you to all the educators who have played such a positive role in his early years — your dedication really shows, and it means the world to us.
My eldest has thrived in kingfishes and has improved greatly socially, emotionally and academically. The educators care deeply and provide wonderful support and encouragement for him.
My youngest attends the dragonflies room and the educators in there have been phenomenal with him! No more crying at drop off!! He is excited to see his little friends and teachers. He is very comfortable and confident in that room. The educators always provide a happy experience during those drop off and pick ups. I have found since being in dragonflies my sons speech and movement has improved significantly.
Communication has always been fantastic. Never have we’ve felt more informed and confident with our choices for education. We are so happy with this daycare.
Also, special mention to the cook Stalin. He always provides healthy and great meals. My kids love his food!
I Highly recommend this center to any parent looking for a nurturing, high-quality environment.
Big shout out to the Dragon Flies Educators.
We receive plenty of updates on our child, communication is always done in professional and friendly ways and we know the food and learning provided are at an exceptional level.
The staff here are exceptional and have made him feel right at home. Clear communication to the parents and his intellectual growth since starting has been amazing.
