Meet Sophia - Centre Director
Sophia has held the position of centre director at Explorers Early Learning Boronia since November 2023.
Sophia has worked in the early learning and childcare sector for over 20 years, which includes more than a decade of centre director experience.
“My favourite thing about being a director at Explorers is having a strong and empowering CEO and business leadership team that bring out the best in us and provide a variety of future growth opportunities.”
When children and families walk into her centre, Sophia wants them to immediately feel that Explorers Boronia is a true home away home. A place where children and educators are learning in a safe environment and feel comfortable to be themselves while continuing to grow.
The Explorers value that Sophia resonates with the most is joy: “I strive to spread joy to my team everyday through my energy, passion, happiness and consistency.”
On top of being a dedicated centre director, Sophia is always ready for a chat and a laugh and is a big music lover, attending concerts of her favourite artists whenever she can.
The staff in the Wattles room where my son is placed, are as genuine as they get, the engagement they give the kids is above and beyond.
