The Explorers Experience

The Explorers Experience is a guide to your child’s daily Explorers journey from drop off to pick up. At Explorers, we believe that each child is unique. Therefore, we tailor our curriculum, construct our learning environments and build our Centres with the needs, passions and experiences of our children in mind.

Your child will enjoy industry-leading early education, thanks to our Reggio Emilia inspired philosophy, bachelor-qualified Kindergarten Teachers, and Enrichment Program.

We love babies at Explorers! Our Nursery offers a thoughtful, soothing experience for babies. We understand that babies have an innate curiosity and desire to explore, so we incorporate safe spaces and sensory learning experiences into our Nursery rooms.

Toddlers love to discover. At this age, their personality really starts to develop, and you’ll get a snapshot into who they’ll become! It’s a very exciting time for parents and children alike, as they develop the first signs of independence through their unquenchable desire to experience the world.

Our bachelor-qualified Kindergarten Teachers deliver our government-funded Kindergarten Program for three and four-year-olds in our service. A play-based approach that emphasises learning through discovery and investigation into numeracy, literacy and science is key to our Kindergarten program.

A Day at Explorers

Toddlers

6:30-8:00am

Good Morning!

We offer a warm welcome at Family Grouping, where children have the opportunity to spend time with peers from different rooms and age groups. Early birds enjoy breakfast from our delicious menu which is approved by Nutrition Australia. We also have plenty of alternative options available for children with food allergies or intolerances, ensuring that every child can start their day off right.

8:00-11:00am

Learning Through Play

We kick off our indoor and outdoor program, offering children opportunities to engage in project work, intentional teaching, our Framework of Joy Enrichment Program, or free play. While they explore, they can enjoy a nutritious morning tea to fuel their curiosity and learning.

11:00-12:00pm

Nutritious Lunch

The children are progressively served lunch from our nutritional menu. Progressive mealtimes allow children to eat gradually across the day, rather than at strict times. This allows children to be better in tune with their bodies and make healthier eating choices.

12:00-3:00pm

Rest Time

After lunch, we offer a rest period where children can have a nap or engage in relaxed play. Once they wake up, afternoon tea is served to refuel and energise them for the rest of the day's activities.

3:00-5:00pm

Afternoon Activities

The afternoon brings more opportunities for children to learn and grow. Through project work, intentional teaching, our Enrichment Program, or free play, children can explore their interests and develop skills in a fun and supportive environment.

5:00-6:30pm

See You Soon!

At the end of each day, our children come together for Family Grouping, where they spend time with their peers from different rooms and age groups, fostering a sense of community and belonging. Furthermore, our Educators make it a priority to have a one-on-one conversation with families at the end of the day. They provide valuable insights into their child's learning progress, social development, and any other important updates.
