The purpose of the Quality Assurance and Compliance Manager at Explorers Early Learning is to lead all centres on a pathway to exceeding and excellence by ensuring thorough quality assurance, safeguarding, and compliance with regulatory standards, while embedding sector-leading-based best practices across the organisation.
The role will work closely with a dedicated team to promote and oversee child safety across the organisation. Your work will involve:
- Planning and conducting efficient and objective investigations and/or fact findings into allegations of reportable conduct as defined by the Commission for Children and Young People or other legislative standards and principles;
- Instructing and supervising external investigators as required
- Instructing and supervising internal investigators as required
- Planning and conducting Root Cause Analyses of processes related to safeguarding of children and young people.
- Review, develop and implement policy and procedure to ensure quality and compliance across all centres.
- Conducting audits and assessments to evaluate compliance
You'll have a passion for maintaining and improving high standards of child safety and a practical sense for how this can be operationalised in organisation. In addition you will have:
- Experience conducting workplace investigations with a particular focus on safeguarding children and reportable conduct;
- Extensive understanding of regulatory frameworks and licensing standards;
- Demonstrated experience in meeting reporting requirements and analysis of information in a timely and comprehensive manner;
- A flare for managing a range of internal and external stakeholders;
- Relevant degree and qualification in investigation or related field (e.g. Certificate IV in Government Investigations); and,
- A valid Australian drivers licence.
