The opportunity!We are seeking a skilled and highly motivated Contract Administrator to join our project delivery team. In this role, you will play an integral part in managing subcontractors, suppliers, contracts, procurement, and project documentation while ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This position requires a strong ability to prioritize multiple competing demands, communicate effectively, and maintain a collaborative approach with both internal teams and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in take-offs, procurement, and the preparation, review, and management of contracts, variations, and progress claims.
- Support the team in sourcing and procuring materials, labour, and services in line with project requirements.
- Respond to queries with efficiency, professionalism, and a positive attitude, fostering strong relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and team members.
- Collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, forming meaningful and trusting relationships to support project goals.
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills.
- Track project expenditure against budgets and manage progress claims, cash flow, and forecasting to ensure financial discipline is maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
- Utilize project management software to manage and maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, RFIs, change orders, and project correspondence.
- Ensure all records are organized and up to date, with a keen attention to detail for easy access and tracking
- Communicate and promote health and safety policies and procedures to ensure that all employees understand and adhere to current practices.
- Identify and report any safety hazards or incidents, ensuring appropriate review and corrective actions are taken to maintain a safe work environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience in contract administration, project management, or construction-related roles.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple competing demands and tight deadlines effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a collaborative and professional approach.
- Proficiency in Procore or similar project management software is an advantage.
- High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in all aspects of project administration.
- Ability to form meaningful and trusting relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of contract management, procurement processes, and construction project delivery.
