Programs
From your baby's first days to the year before school, every classroom runs our Learning for Life curriculum: child-led, play-based, and grounded in the Early Years Learning Framework.
Child safety first, always
Choosing the right childcare is one of the most important decisions a family can make. At Explorers, child safety and wellbeing are embedded into every part of our practice, from secure entry systems and supervision procedures to the respectful, trusting relationships we build with every child. Our educators are trained in First Aid, CPR, asthma and anaphylaxis management, and our safety practices are supported by clear policies, regular risk assessments and a strong culture of care. Most importantly, we create environments where children feel emotionally safe, deeply supported and genuinely known.
Read our child-safety commitmentBeyond the classroom
At Explorers Boronia, learning extends beyond the classroom. Children may take part in Bush Kinder, local excursions, incursions, music, movement, visual arts and community experiences that help them connect with the world around them.

“A great facility. The staff are very friendly and helpful. My child learns a lot from Explorers Boronia and it is clear to me she is having a great experience. The staff are very caring about our family unit and not focused on just the child. I would recommend them to anyone.”
“I cannot recommend Explorers Boronia highly enough! My Son has been going there for 8 months now and it is truly amazing to see how well settled he is and how much of an improvement he has made overall. Having never been at Care previously, it's unbelievable how eager he is, and how much he looks forward to going to care every day. This speaks volumes as to how supportive, attentive and caring the team is! A special thanks to the Centre Leadership Team for the constant support extended and for being friendly and approachable. We have had a truly wonderful experience so far and are incredibly grateful for the care and support they've given and continue to give our child.”
“Explorers Boronia has been the best childcare centre we found after trying about five others. We were one of the first families to tour the centre with the centre manager before it was even fully finished, and we immediately felt it would be a great fit. That turned out to be true. We really appreciate the regular updates through the app, including meal times, daily photos, and activity details. The special events like Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, and Graduation were all organised beautifully. Thank you to Sophia and the team for making them so memorable. The food has been fantastic, and we would like to thank Beth, the chef, for her wonderful food. Maria and Namrata helped our child settle in smoothly during the familiarisation period. Maria always provided us with positive comments and she looks after the kids really well. Tashmi is very gentle and caring, and she supports the children with great attention and warmth. Sampada made a big difference in helping our child with speaking, and we are very grateful for her support. William has been exceptional. He is kind, focused, and dedicated to building children’s confidence and emphasising individual skills. He treats everyone equally and always appreciates children with positive feedback. Explorers Boronia is lucky to have him as their 4 year Kindergarten teacher. There are a couple of areas where the centre could improve. At times, it appeared that a few children were not treated as consistently as others by some educators. Providing further training or ensuring greater consistency in interactions would be a valuable improvement. Additionally, having kindergarten graduates finish early in January created challenges for working parents. Although we were advised that make‑up days would be available during January, these were not provided as expected. Many centres continue offering care until school resumes, so a more flexible transition period would be extremely helpful in the future. Overall, we’ve had a wonderful experience and truly appreciate the hard work and dedication of the team. I happily recommend Explorers Boronia to other parents who are looking for a nurturing, supportive, and home‑away‑from‑home environment for their children.”
“Leaving this review feels emotional because today was our son's last day at Explorers Boronia & this place has meant so much to our family. We came to Explorers after a disappointing experience at a childcare close to home. We were honestly quite disheartened & just wanted a place where our child would be genuinely cared for. Explorers Boronia was still being built at the time when we first showed up & from that very first interaction, things felt different. Sophia, the centre manager, welcomed us with warmth, patience & honesty, even before the centre had officially opened. That first conversation set the tone for everything that followed. From the moment our child was enrolled, he was made to feel safe & comfortable. Maria & Namrata played a huge role in helping him settle in during those early days & drop offs would not have been the same without Katie, who brought calm, reassurance & kindness every single morning. As he moved through the rooms, the care never dropped for a second. When he joined Kingfishers, Sam was outstanding. She truly took the time to understand where his was developmentally & what mattered to us as parents. She worked with intention & care to support his growth & prepare him for the next stage. Thank you Sam! In Kinder, Will was exceptional. He saw our son for who he is & actively encouraged his strengths. He gave him opportunities to lead, to participate & to build confidence in himself. Tashmi, who was part of Will’s team & with him through most of his journey, deserves a special mention. She has such a genuine love for children & brings so much fun, energy & warmth into the room. He absolutely adored her & we are so grateful for the joy & care she brought into his days. Another huge highlight of this centre is the kitchen. Beth is hands down the best we have experienced across any childcare. The food is healthy, thoughtful & clearly made with love. Our child really enjoyed everything she prepared, especially the birthday fruit cakes & all the healthy baking she does for the kids. It makes such a difference knowing your child is being nourished properly as well as cared for. At the heart of it all is the leadership. Sophia, along with George & Brianna, has built something really special here. They all are some of the kindest, most humble people you could take any thought to. They do not just listen, they act. Every conversation came with clear steps & follow through. If you are a parent looking to enrol your child, whether from a very young age or later on, I cannot recommend Explorers Boronia highly enough. This is a place where children are truly cared for, where management listens & takes action, & where the people you meet feel like they are on your side. We are incredibly thankful for everything this team has done for our precious one & for us as a family.”
“Our Grandson has attended this centre for 2 years. Over that period the centre Management and Staff have been exceptional. Sophia, the centre’s Director, is always up-beat, friendly, caring and totally dedicated to the children. She is a true example of genuine leadership and has a wonderful team of professional and passionate staff also committed to the best interests of all the children under their care. We cannot speak highly of enough of Explores Boronia Centre. Thank you team.”
