At Explorers, our thoughtfully designed Centre warmly welcomes families and children, while supporting our dedicated Educators in nurturing each child's curiosity and learning journey.
Each space, from our babies' room to kindergarten, is designed to inspire curiosity and foster learning through a playful and positive environment. Our central Piazza, influenced by the Reggio Emilia learning approach, encourages a sense of belonging, collaboration and intentional learning, complemented by landscaped outdoor learning spaces.
Our team of passionate Educators are dedicated to delivering the highest quality early childhood education and care. Through our unique Learning for Life Curriculum, children embark on engaging learning experiences from babies through to 3 and 4 year old Kindergarten.

I have been to many centres, either as a student doing placement or as a casual employee, and this one, is definitely the best!From the start, the vibe here has always been so positive and supportive. The management team is amazing – they genuinely care about us, and it’s clear they prioritize our mental health and well-being. They’re always understanding and do their best to accommodate any needs, which makes such a difference to the overall work environment. When you feel supported, it’s so much easier to do your best and give the kids the care they deserve. Thank you Ferah, Ash, Jordan, Simone, Jess🥺 I will miss you guys
Speaking of the kids, the level of care here is incredible. There’s always enough staff in each room, and sometimes extra hands to help out. I’ve been to places where the bare minimum staffing ratios were NOT even followed (sadly), and it’s honestly very stressful. But at Explorers Essendon, there’s always time to connect with the kids, get involved in their activities, and really engage with them. The team is patient, caring, and always there for the kids – even on the busiest days. From a psychology student perspective, seeing every child receives the individual attention they need is incredibly rewarding, as I know how important early childhood is in shaping their development and future wellbeing.
I remember walking in on my first day, not knowing how to change a nappy, and the staff were so patient and kind, teaching me everything step by step. Now, I feel confident and capable with kids of all ages, and I’ve grown so much during my time here. As I get ready to leave, I just want to say thank you to everyone at Explorers Essendon. It’s been such a rewarding experience, and I’ll always remember the lessons, the support, and the love I’ve received here. If you’re thinking about joining this centre, you won’t regret it.

And are very humble, caring, the smile is always on their face. Always ensure their educators are well looked after and are being herd and always supportive, and are very encouraging and keep their educators motivated to be better, and continue to give our children and families the best high quality practice. management team are always willing to listen to any issues may rise or if we need support with anything. Explorer Educators are very attentive to children’s needs , and always at children’s level meeting children’s needs at all times , communication and interaction with children and staff together is outstanding as that what keeps a great foundation of our service a welcoming fun atmosphere and environment to be in.

Ash, Jess & Jordan run a great centre. Jess C (Gumnuts), Erin (Pobbles) Esha & Jazz (Wattles) have been such warm, gentle educators for us, helping us go with the flow of early childhood; we have no doubts about keeping our son here for kindergarten.
We’ve made some lifelong friends thanks to this brilliant daycare community.

Situated on Lincoln Road in the heart of Essendon, you’ll find our beautiful Centre offers a nurturing environment for children. Our thoughtfully designed Centre has dedicated learning and care rooms appropriate for nurturing babies through to dynamic 3 and 4 year old Kindergarten spaces.
We have beautifully landscaped outdoor play areas and interactive learning spaces to enhance the children’s experiences. Our professional kitchen allows us to prepare delicious and healthy home cooked meals daily.
Inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach, our central piazza fosters a strong sense of belonging and encourages collaboration among the children within the Explorers Essendon community.
