Mornington Centre Overview
Explorers Mornington – proudly rated as Meeting the National Quality Standard
At Explorers, we believe that early childhood is a time of wonder and discovering new possibilities. Our Mornington early learning centre, located on the corner of Nepean Highway and Strachans Road, is designed to spark curiosity and instill confidence in every child. We have thoughtfully-designed learning areas that cater to different age groups: a nursery for babies and engaging preschool kindergarten spaces.
While our interior learning spaces are intended to foster creativity and teamwork, our outside play areas promote adventure by letting kids run, climb, and interact with nature. Our in-house chef makes healthy, fresh meals every day because we know that healthy eating supports sharp brains. Following the principles of Reggio Emilia, our central piazza serves as the heart of our centre, bringing kids together to exchange ideas, make friends, and grow to feel like they belong in a community at our childcare in Mornington

What makes Explorers Mornington Unique
Every kid deserves an exciting, engaging early learning environment that provides opportunities for success. Our childcare in Mornington is not like other daycare centres in Australia, we adopt a Framework of Joy where play and education complement one another. Our learning for life philosophy guarantees that children learn important life skills in a way that is natural, inspirational, and enjoyable.
At Explorers, we make learning holistic, offering:
- Tailored Learning Spaces – Every child is unique and we make sure we cater to each learning journey by providing spaces that support every stage of development.
- Engaging Playgrounds – Children need to stay active, so we make our outdoor spaces inviting so children can freely move and experience their surroundings.
- Holistic Nutrition – We have an in-house chef who makes sure that children are only served fresh, healthy meals that keep them fuelled throughout the day.
- Passionate Teachers – Our committed teachers brighten each child’s day with their warmth, knowledge, and excitement. They design learning activities that stimulate curiosity and confidence while following our toddler curriculum.
- Sustainable Learning – We aim to teach children to love their environment at an early age. Through hands-on activities like gardening or recycling, we help them understand the importance of caring for the environment.
