“If you are looking for a the perfect centre to enrol your child into, I wouldn’t look anywhere else except Explorers! My child has struggled at other centres, wasn’t wanting to go and made me think that maybe childcare just wasn’t suited for him. But then we went and did the tour here at explorers, and he didn’t want to leave! As soon as you get up the stairs, you are welcomed into such a beautiful and calm environment. That doesn’t just stop at the entry, you can see and feel it in each of the rooms. To see on my sons first day, he was so happy to tell me he made friends and likes his teachers (and he couldn’t wait to come back again). The teachers really do work with the children and their families to be able to best support the child, they’re truly not just a number here, but well known by name. To have my child now love it so much that he likes to play ‘explorers’ at home with his older brother. My son pretends to be ‘Chelsea’ (the centre manager) or ‘Sandra’ (his teacher) and has his brother be one of the ‘kids’. What I have witnessed him ‘playing’ is truly a testament to the way the teachers and centre manager interacts and connects with the kids there. Because clearly he was saying and acting like how they must be like when they interact with him (which is very warm and nurturing). Honestly, you can’t get any better than this centre. They truly show a high standard of care!”

His first time attending a daycare service and so far he has done so well. The new centre is spacious, clean, a lot of activities indoor and outdoor for the children and we feel confident that our son is safe and secure here. With thanks to Chelsea, Megan, Dempsie, Alyssa, Divya, Sandra, Tayla and Ben who are all so friendly and welcoming, they have made our experience a lot more comfortable for both our son and us. We love what explorers offers which is why we chose to come here and it’s been about a month since my son has started and he is thriving. Ngā mihi (thank you) Wallan Explorers 🙂”

Yes. Children are provided with fresh, seasonal meals prepared daily by our in-house chef. We cater for allergies, intolerances, cultural preferences and individual dietary needs.
Our early learning centres have an in-house chefs who prepares fresh, delicious meals daily, and we’re always happy to adjust for dietary needs and preferences. Just let us know what your child requires, and we’ll handle the rest.
We use Storypark to share daily updates, learning documentation and developmental progress. This helps families stay connected to their child’s day, experiences and learning journey.
When the kids are outdoors, we’re right there with them. We do regular safety checks, and our trained staff are always nearby to make sure children can explore freely while we keep them safe and sound. Our Wallan childcare centre has secure entry systems, supervision procedures, regular risk assessments and clear medical management protocols. Outdoor areas are regularly checked and supervised by trained educators. Educators are trained in First Aid, CPR, asthma and anaphylaxis management, and child safety is embedded into our everyday practice.
