At Explorers, our thoughtfully designed Centre warmly welcomes families and children, while supporting our dedicated Educators in nurturing each child's curiosity and learning journey.

Each space, from our babies' room to kindergarten, is designed to inspire curiosity and foster learning through a playful and positive environment. Our central Piazza, influenced by the Reggio Emilia learning approach, encourages a sense of belonging, collaboration and intentional learning, complemented by landscaped outdoor learning spaces.

Our team of passionate Educators are dedicated to delivering the highest quality early childhood education and care. Through our unique Learning for Life Curriculum, children embark on engaging learning experiences from babies through to 3 and 4 year old Kindergarten.

Love this place! I have my second child through here and about to say goodbye and head off to Prep next year and wanted to say that my boys have been so lucky to have experienced such wonderful times at Explorers. The staff are nurturing and so very helpful. The educators do an amazing job with such engaging and varied educational activities and environment. Shereen, May and Hai have always been fabulous and so patient with my boy. So many more wonderful educators I could mention that have had a role to play over the years. Thank you to all! Management is caring and supportive of parents, children and their staff. Thanks Connie and George for all your hard work! A wonderful preschool journey! So sad the end of the year is approaching!

If I could give more than 5 stars, this centre definitely deserves it. Under Director Connie she manages a centre that is a caring and supportive environment for her staff. When you walk in you are always greeted with a smile which sets off for a great start to your day. All childrens needs are catered for every day. Programs are very professional and age appropriate. My daughter loves coming here and I cannot praise all staff enough.

Explorers early learning Nunawading has the best staff and educators my kids love this centre so much I really recommend for all children and babies to come here such a clean and good environment for the children had so many problems at the other centre my kids was going to and here they love it 💖😁 10/10 for us

We have sent both of our boys to Explorers Nunawading and both us and our boys have been very happy over the last few years. The educators are always bubbly, friendly and truly care for the kids. The learning, development and activities we have seen throughout the different classes is great! Our eldest son was well and truly ready to start Prep after he finished up at Explorers. Our youngest is still here and we have found the level of education has stepped up a few notches once they appointed George as their education leader. The Wattles team, Charie, Meena, Evelyn and Rukshana are so patient, yet always have so much energy! More over, we feel relaxed, confident and safe that our children are being well cared for and loved!

Centre Highlights

Situated on the corner between Springfield Road and Springvale Road, you’ll find our beautiful Centre offers a nurturing environment for children. Our thoughtfully designed Centre has dedicated learning and care rooms appropriate for nurturing babies through to dynamic 3 and 4 year old Kindergarten spaces.
We have beautifully landscaped outdoor play areas and interactive learning spaces to enhance the children’s experiences. Our professional kitchen allows us to prepare delicious and healthy home cooked meals daily.
Inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach, our central piazza fosters a strong sense of belonging and encourages collaboration among the children within the Explorers Nunawading community.
