At Explorers, child safety and wellbeing are embedded into every part of our practice, from secure entry systems and supervision procedures to the respectful, trusting relationships we build with every child. Our educators are trained in First Aid, CPR, asthma and anaphylaxis management, and our safety practices are supported by clear policies, regular risk assessments and a strong culture of care. It's been a year since my daughter started childcare life at Explorers Armadale. As a first time mom, I was nervous leaving my child to someone else's hands. But the educators and management team members are very friendly and approachable. Also educators monitor and observe children well and I am happy with their feedback about my daughter. My daughter has made a lot of friends and enjoys the childcare.

Couldn't speak more highly of the team. They have been so supportive for both of our kids as they settled into a new kinder/daycare and moving to the city. They have also gone above and beyond to help our daughter with a toileting fear that lasted a long time. They were so patient, caring and helpful and we got there! Such a great team and great atmosphere.

Such an amazing team at EEL Armadale! The educators are warm, caring, and genuinely invested in the children’s development and wellbeing. The environment is welcoming, clean, and full of engaging activities that support learning through play. Communication with families is excellent, and it’s clear the staff go above and beyond to create a safe and nurturing space. Highly recommend to any family looking for a supportive and positive start to their child’s early education.

My wife, son and I are so grateful to the team for creating a fun and safe environment that our son loves. The daily updates show him engaged, developing and having a great time. He runs in every morning looking forward to seeing the educators, who are caring and attentive and relate to him, and has fun with the other kids. We’ll be sad when it’s eventually time to move on.

I love this centre. We’ve been attending since January 2020. They were amazing through all the lockdowns and maintained a really nice connection with the kids even when we couldn’t attend, which made it a lot easier on the kids when they eventually returned. That extra effort was above and beyond. I particularly love their commitment to respectfully integrating Aboriginal culture into every part of the curriculum. The whole ethos there is really lovely. The recycling area, their love of nature and the outdoors, the play spaces and opshopped furniture, it’s all wonderful. I also like that the centre isn’t too big. The educators and directors know all the families by name, even when you only attend once a week. The educators are delightful, and the staff turnover is quite low, which means that the kids really get to bond with their educators and feel safe and familiar at drop off.
