At Explorers, our thoughtfully designed Centre warmly welcomes families and children, while supporting our dedicated Educators in nurturing each child's curiosity and learning journey.

Each space, from our babies' room to kindergarten, is designed to inspire curiosity and foster learning through a playful and positive environment. Our central Piazza, influenced by the Reggio Emilia learning approach, encourages a sense of belonging, collaboration and intentional learning, complemented by landscaped outdoor learning spaces.

Our team of passionate Educators are dedicated to delivering the highest quality early childhood education and care. Through our unique Learning for Life Curriculum, children embark on engaging learning experiences from babies through to 3 and 4 year old Kindergarten.

The staffs of Elgar road center are always friendly and welcoming to parents and children. My child “ Minxi” settled in the room so quickly. She enjoys being with peers and educators.

My son (15 months) joined Explorers Elgar Road 2 months ago and loves going! As a parent, my reservations were quickly removed due to the extremely kind, warm and helpful staff. The educators are very supportive and happy to provide additional updates any time that I have called. AJ is a super nice and passionate educator. She and the other educators have made this transition smooth and easy for our family. Keep up the good work! 🙂

Our two year old has been attending Elgar Rd since it opened at the beginning of the year. We love the Centre so much - all the staff and educators are so welcoming and Frankie loves her daycare days. Healthy meals, a clean space and incredibly competent and professional staff - we could not fault this fantastic centre!

I would like to extend my sincere thankfulness to all the staff members at the centre, who are very friendly, considerate, and helpful.

My son restarted kinder at Explorer Early Learning as a new place after 2 years' break due to the pandemic. The educators at the centre helped him to settle down and familiarise with the new environment.

Plus the centre is modern and provides an excellent environment for the children.

I have visited a few childcare centres in the neighbour and I can say EEL is the best. I will highly recommend EEL.

My 2 year old started at Explorer Surrey Hills on Elgar Rd 2 months ago and the staff and facility is just amazing. I feel he is really cared for and loved as the staff show genuine interest in all the children attending. Thank you all!

My daughter, Savannah, has been attending the centre since it opened & we couldn’t be happier with our decision.

The staff are all incredibly patient, kind & caring. It’s been wonderful seeing Savannah develop trust & beautiful connections with all of her educators.

The centre’s communication has always been consistent & clear; we love seeing daily updates via the app, as well as the weekly newsletter.

I highly recommend this centre to anyone looking for a clean, safe, & enriching environment for their little one.

It's been several weeks since our son has started attending the centre. We love it - the centre is new, classes are relatively small and the educators are very kind, open and caring. We were nervous like many parents sending our son for the first time to day care but it's so pleasing to see how he's learning, growing and to see signs of him settling really well. Overall we're very happy and we're very grateful for all of the staff that provides care.

Centre Highlights

Situated off Elgar Road and just a short drive from the main street, you’ll find our beautiful Centre offers a nurturing environment for children. Our thoughtfully designed Centre has dedicated learning and care rooms appropriate for nurturing babies through to dynamic 3 and 4 year old Kindergarten spaces.
We have beautifully landscaped outdoor play areas and interactive learning spaces to enhance the children’s experiences. Our professional kitchen allows us to prepare delicious and healthy home cooked meals daily.
Inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach, our central piazza fosters a strong sense of belonging and encourages collaboration among the children within the Explorers Surrey Hills Elgar Road community.
