At Explorers, our thoughtfully designed Centre warmly welcomes families and children, while supporting our dedicated Educators in nurturing each child's curiosity and learning journey.

Each space, from our babies' room to kindergarten, is designed to inspire curiosity and foster learning through a playful and positive environment. Our central Piazza, influenced by the Reggio Emilia learning approach, encourages a sense of belonging, collaboration and intentional learning, complemented by landscaped outdoor learning spaces.

Our team of passionate Educators are dedicated to delivering the highest quality early childhood education and care. Through our unique Learning for Life Curriculum, children embark on engaging learning experiences from babies through to 3 and 4 year old Kindergarten.

Have you ever felt tired but genuinely happy at work? That’s exactly how I feel at Elgar Road.

The children’s families are so cheerful, flexible, and friendly. The educators and management team work together seamlessly, always supporting one another.

It’s starting to feel like my second home because everyone is so warm and welcoming.

We’ve had the pleasure of sending our children to Explorers Elgar Road since it first opened, and we couldn’t be happier with our decision. Our daughter, Imogen, has been there since the beginning, and our son, Hendrick, has been attending for about six months now. The staff at Explorers have been consistently wonderful throughout, and it’s clear they truly care for the children.

Both Imogen and Hendrick always look forward to their days at Explorers, and it’s such a relief to know they are in a safe and nurturing environment. We love that we can trust the teachers to provide a fun, engaging, and supportive experience for them each day. It’s comforting to see both our children so happy and excited to go each morning. We can wholeheartedly recommend Explorers Elgar Road to any family looking for a caring and reliable childcare setting.

Explorers exceeded all my expectations and I couldn’t recommend them more highly. Every instructor showed incredible passion for their work and genuine care for my son, which made us feel so supported. Their curriculum strikes the perfect balance between education and nurturing - a true gem of a find.

The staffs of Elgar road center are always friendly and welcoming to parents and children. My child “ Minxi” settled in the room so quickly. She enjoys being with peers and educators.

My son (15 months) joined Explorers Elgar Road 2 months ago and loves going! As a parent, my reservations were quickly removed due to the extremely kind, warm and helpful staff. The educators are very supportive and happy to provide additional updates any time that I have called. AJ is a super nice and passionate educator. She and the other educators have made this transition smooth and easy for our family. Keep up the good work! 🙂

Our two year old has been attending Elgar Rd since it opened at the beginning of the year. We love the Centre so much - all the staff and educators are so welcoming and Frankie loves her daycare days. Healthy meals, a clean space and incredibly competent and professional staff - we could not fault this fantastic centre!

I would like to extend my sincere thankfulness to all the staff members at the centre, who are very friendly, considerate, and helpful.

My son restarted kinder at Explorer Early Learning as a new place after 2 years' break due to the pandemic. The educators at the centre helped him to settle down and familiarise with the new environment.

Plus the centre is modern and provides an excellent environment for the children.

I have visited a few childcare centres in the neighbour and I can say EEL is the best. I will highly recommend EEL.

Situated off Elgar Road and just a short drive from the main street, you’ll find our beautiful Centre offers a nurturing environment for children. Our thoughtfully designed Centre has dedicated learning and care rooms appropriate for nurturing babies through to dynamic 3 and 4 year old Kindergarten spaces.
We have beautifully landscaped outdoor play areas and interactive learning spaces to enhance the children’s experiences. Our professional kitchen allows us to prepare delicious and healthy home cooked meals daily.
Inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach, our central piazza fosters a strong sense of belonging and encourages collaboration among the children within the Explorers Surrey Hills Elgar Road community.
